The economy

For this assignment, you will all tell a story about one aspect of the current economic climate through the eyes of three sources that you must find. That's called finding an angle and it means that you need to pick one sliver of the economy, good or bad, to write about - the improving climate for housing, the toll on small business owners of one town or the effect on restaurant servers.
You will start working on this in class on Friday by dividing into groups to brainstorm angle ideas, who to talk to and how you'll get it done. You'll have to decide what your angle is by the end of class that day.

Once you complete each interview, you will post a short write-up about the interview to the blog, about 200 words including quotes. Everyone is also encouraged to incorporate video or photos into your posts.

If you have a Mac, iMovie will work just fine for video editing. If you have a PC, you can download Video Spin for free at this link.

I'm not looking for masterful video production here. I'm looking for good content. Video and photos are not required, but for each multimedia post, I will knock off one of your quiz grades.

You must complete posts for all three sources by April 13.

Good luck!
